Our client is s a £14 million turnover manufacturing business who are unrivalled in their ability to deliver orders in a short lead time. For 60 years they have continuously sought ways to improve efficiency, develop new products, and enhance customer service.

This is a fantastic opportunity that offers a diverse range of responsibilities for an experienced Senior HR Advisor.

This role is an office-based part time role and will be worked Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities:

  • Employee Relations Support: Providing guidance and advice to managers on various HR matters such as employee relations, disciplinary procedures, and grievance handling.
  • Payroll Management: Overseeing the monthly payroll process along with related employee benefits administration.
  • Policy Development: Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures aligned with business operations.
  • Employee Life Cycle Management: Managing the entire employee life cycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and conducting exit interviews.
  • Employee Records Management: Ensuring accurate and compliant maintenance of employee records, including verification of work references and coordination with regulatory bodies like the DBS for sensitivity checks.
  • Data Protection Compliance: Ensuring employee records are managed in compliance with GDPR and the Data Protection Act.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Compiling HR and business planning metrics, preparing reports, and providing analysis to management and the board.
  • Strategic Input: Providing input on strategic HR issues and taking the lead on HR projects such as employee surveys and forums.
  • Legal Compliance: Ensuring all HR activities are conducted in accordance with relevant legal requirements and professional best practices.
